The fourth album from Spain’s most well-travelled Afrobeat band features a unique evolution of the style of music originated by Fela Kuti and Tony Allen. Here the band features a bassoon, dobro, banjo and pedal steel, in addition to the typical electric line-up. Following the tradition of featuring an exclusive painting from an African artist, in this case the Congolese artist Dolet Malalu.

Nakany’s second album shows her growth as a composer, addressing social issues while further cementing her personal style of Malinke pop, featuring both traditional and modern instrumentation.
